An offer is a named block of your time with a price on it. "Five hours — $625." That is the thing a stranger buys.
Making one
New offer takes a name, a number of hours, and a price. Leave the price alone and it is worked out from your hourly rate; set your own and the offer keeps that number regardless of your rate.
When you set your own price the effective hourly rate is shown while you type — ten hours for $1,000 is $100 an hour, and whether that is the discount you intended should not be something you work out on paper.
Drift
If you raise your rate later, offers carrying their own price are flagged as drifting from it. Nothing is changed for you and nothing is left quietly stale; the difference is surfaced and you decide.
Listed and unlisted
A listed offer appears on your page for anyone to buy.
An unlisted offer does not. It exists only at its own link, which you send to whoever you want. That is how you price something for one person, or sell only to clients you have already spoken to, without a private area or a login.
Groups
Offers can be grouped, and a group can be placed on a page by itself. A page about one kind of work can show only the offers that suit it.
What the buyer does
They pick a block, enter their name and email, and pay by card. They get a receipt. They do not get an account, a login, or anything to set up.
