Search

⌘K finds anything on your site. What it finds depends on who is asking.

Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) on any page of your site. A box opens. Type, and the matches appear as you go. A typo still finds the thing. Enter opens the first result.

What a visitor finds

Your pages and posts, and your offers once Stripe is connected. Nothing else. A visitor never sees your clients, your to-dos or your panels.

What you find

All of that, and more:

  • Work and Content. Every section, by name. Type "history" and you are there.
  • Clients. By name, email or notes. Opens their page in Work.
  • To-dos. Anything still open, with the client it belongs to.
  • Drafts. Pages you have not published yet.
  • The docs. These pages.

The owner's bar has a Search button too.

Search in your menu

Visitors do not know about ⌘K. So your menu can offer a Search item that opens the same box.

It is automatic: the item appears once you have eight or more published pages and posts. Under Content → Settings → Search you can turn it on or off whatever the count.
