Managing work

Offers

The blocks of time you sell. Name, hours, price, and where they show.

An offer is a named block of your time with a price. "Five hours, $625." That is what a stranger buys.

Making one

New offer takes a name, a number of hours, and a price. Leave the price blank and it is worked out from your hourly rate. Set your own price and the offer keeps that number whatever your rate does.

When you set your own price, the hourly rate it works out to is shown as you type. Ten hours for $1,000 is $100 an hour.

Drift

If you change your rate later, offers with their own price are flagged as drifting from it. Nothing changes on its own. You decide.

Listed and unlisted

A listed offer shows on your site for anyone to buy.

An unlisted offer does not show. It exists only at its own link, which you send to whoever you like. Use it to price something for one person, or to sell only to people you have already spoken to.

Groups

Offers can be grouped. A group can be placed on a page by itself, so a page about one kind of work shows only the offers for it.

What the buyer does

They pick a block, type their name and email, and pay by card. They get a receipt. They do not get an account or a login.
